Dr. Radding is a native New Englander and has lived in Maine since 1996. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Boston University in 1984 and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989.
She started her career as a mixed-animal doctor at Belfast Veterinary Hospital in Maine and also spent several years in small animal practice in the Washington, DC metro area. From 1996-2001, Dr. Radding worked with the Iams Company as a technical services veterinarian where she had the opportunity to learn quite a bit about canine and feline nutrition.
She returned to small animal practice in 2001 in the greater Portland, Maine area until she purchased Freeport Veterinary Hospital from Dr. David Bourassa in 2005. She is a Fear-Free Certified Professional and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Maine Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
Some of her particular interests include internal medicine, dentistry and skin, and ear disease.
Dr. Radding lives in Pownal with her standard poodle, Nelson, who accompanies her to work every day. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, yoga and a variety of outdoor sports including kayaking and hiking.
